A dancer and music lover since a child, Joshua would stay up late into the night with his face glued to a tiny TV ー watching episodes of “Soul Train” and “Showtime at the Apollo” so he could learn how to dance.. He danced Ballet and Hip Hop while growing up, and began dancing in an afterschool club whilst in high school. Joshua Mclean is a professional dancer, choreographer, and performer. Specializing in ____ He has taught and performed at Lindy Focus, Herrang Dance Camp, Beantown Lindy Hop Camp, Joshua believes that individual expression to music and teamwork are crucial to being your best dancing self. In the classroom, he combines his knowledge of Jazz music, Lindy Hop and Vernacular Jazz Dances, Theatre Improvisation Techniques, and Communication Theory to coach students through the development of their skills, empowering them to reveal the dancer they have the potential to be.

Performing and Competing

Joshua has been awarded several competition titles from the International Lindy Hop Championships, Lindyfest, Camp Jitterbug, Beantown Lindy Hop Camp, and other Lindy Hop dance festivals. As a performer and choreographer, he has danced for a variety of performances, including groups under his direction. Recent notable appearances include:
